Tournaments during closed-harvest flounder season
- For flounder fish entries during closed-harvest seasons, a team member must present a picture of the flounder in-person at the weigh-in, showing the length on a hard measuring device. The picture must clearly show the fish mouth closed, touching the zero-inch mark and the tail clearly showing length. (1/8” inch increments suggested, if increments are more, then the fish will be recorded as the last mark the tail goes over.) Also, the picture must include the card supplied with the designated character that is given out the tournament registration. Each of the 5 tournaments will have a unique character. Any infractions of these requirements may lead to that fish being disqualified, and cannot be replaced with another fish.
- One-angler teams are allowed to submit 2 flounder pictures when the flounder season is closed.
- Flounder weights during closed season will be determined by the Got-Em-On 2023/24 length to weight matrix, available on the club website.
Tournaments during open-harvest flounder season
- During open-harvest flounder seasons, teams will weigh flounder the same as trout and red drum. No flounder pictures will be accepted.
- A one angler team will only be allowed to weigh 1 flounder as part of their aggregate.
Amendments to the rules may be announced prior to, or at, tournament registrations.
