The Got-em-on annual "Chowder Cook Off" and "Dessert Contest" is coming up on Saturday February 11th at Snow's Cut Park on river road. Judging starts at 1:00 pm and prizes will be awarded in both categories.

Trophies for our annual Chart Buster winners and 2011 Points Tournament will be awarded at this event. Lots of club hats, shirts and other neat stuff will be up for sale. Everyone come on out and bring your favorite Chowder or Dessert and have a great time! Actually, you don't have to bring anything! A smile and a healthy appetite would be good; and pray for decent weather, 'cause we're doing it rain or shine! (Snow might be another story)

"Flotilla Party"

A Flotilla Party will be held on Saturday December 3rd at "Freddie's Yacht Yard" (400 Block of Canal Drive). The party will start at 5:30 pm. Frank Grady will be cooking a delicious meal and there will be lots of cold beverages on ice. This will be our last get together for the year and it has always been great fun. We look forward to seeing everyone there.

Got-Em-On Open Board Meeting

There will be a Got-Em-On Board Meeting open to all members on November 10th, 2011. The meeting will take place at the Federal Point History Center (1121 N Lake Park Blvd, Carolina Beach) and will start at 7:00 pm.

Come joins us help a GEO member who is battling cancer

Saltwater Marine are hosting a benefit tournament to help GEO club members Mark and Leslie Armstrong with Leslie’s medical expenses, and we are asking that our members lend a helping hand by joining in and fish the benefit tournament.

5th Flounder Points Tournament & Social

Our 5th Flounder Points Tournament will be held on Saturday October 15th. Registration is on Friday, October 14th at the "Sea Witch" (227 Carolina Beach Avenue North, Carolina Beach,) from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Fishing will begin at sunrise (club rules define sunrise as “Daylight” and is not determined by a specific time). Weigh-in will be at "Freddie's Yacht Yard" between 2:00pm and 3:00pm (400 Block of Canal Drive). Contestants must be in line to weigh-in no later than 3:00 pm. (If docking delays you, you must make eye contact and communicate with the weigh master or assistant to be considered eligible).

As this is the last points tournament we will have food at the weigh-in Saturday afternoon.

61 members signed up and 22 weighed in at Freddies.

4th Flounder Points Tournament
